This is an example of book spine poetry.  You gather books from your bookshelf and create poems out of the titles of the books.  It’s quite fun, and kids definitely enjoy it!  It’s also a great way to get children into reading, literature, and poetry.  Teachers should make this an exercise for their students.  The above poem reads:

Fall on Your Knees
In the Heart of the Sea
A Margin of Hope
A Thousand Splendid Suns
Everyman
Blink
For One More Day
In the Name of Humanity
